Agri-IQ has been appointed to implement governance training and institutional support to Small-scale sugar cane Growers in the Nkomazi region of Mpumalanga
Agri-IQ have been appointed to train approximatly 24 Co-operative and Association Institutions in the Nkomazi region of Mpumalanga, South Africa. These institutions form an integral part of the sugar cane supply to the sugar mills at Malelane and Komatipoort. The training will focus on good governance of the small-scale growers (SSG's) and will also provide ongoing institutional support to the SSG Associations and Co-operatives. Through our experience, Agri-IQ has a deep seated understanding of the smallholder farming sector and is ideally placed to provide the training and capacity building to the grower institutions. It is expected that 850 people will be trained through this project.
